Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, an award-winning author and leading voice in education, pioneered the Educational Displacement Theory (Sabic-El-Rayess, 2021). This theory explains the displacement of students from classrooms and their subsequent search for alternative learning environments and mentors. Dr. Sabic-El-Rayess and her team are designing an interactive and multi-modular training for educators to address educational displacement by cultivating classroom cultures of open inquiry and pedagogic practices to reimagine resilience.
